Description: Clevedon is rumoured to be the old stomping ground of J. M. W. Turner. He used to paint the effects of light shining through the smoke from the now decommissioned coalmines in Newport. Although lacking this visual effect, Clevedon is one of the most beautiful places to visit along the west coast of the UK to capture a stunning sunset and seascape.
